Facilities: The innovative £8 million National Centre for Horticulture, the Environment and Sustainable Technology is one of the most modern glasshouse training facilities in the UK with its state-of-the-art glasshouse for food crop trials and research. It also houses a fully equipped science laboratory and CAD design studios.

Animal and Equestrian Centres: The Animal Centre has a licensed zoo, home to over 250 different animal species, and is accredited by the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA). As a regional centre for agricultural education, this modern farm has world class facilities and is home to Reaseheath Pedigree High Yielding Holsteins and Youngstock. The £3.5 million Equestrian Centre provides both indoor and outdoor riding arenas for equine science students.
